paca chunk

Featured Replies

I was wondering how many of you thread the trailer on the jig hook or just pin it through the body in the middle.

Threaded then pinned or super-glued.

LOL.

Yep. I am a newbie ineedie...

It's obvious, thread it.

Just pinned, don't have to fool with it when it slips.  BTW, I love this trailer and the action of the claws!

If it's a craw worm I thread it on the hook & if it's a chunk type I slide it on the hook like I would a pork chunk.

The only problem I have with the Paca Chunk is at 3 and shaped more like a craw worm than a chunk it's too short. I use Oldham's jigs and their ¼ oz jig has a 4/0 hook which is quite large for a tiny trailer.

the Paca Chunk is my favorite trailer bait. Threaded is definetly the way to go.
