Ha! Check out the FAQ link on that site . They use genuine Eagle Claw hooks on some of their stuff. ;)

Sheesh, you figure for that kind of money they'd spring for the Owners or the Gammys......

I guess if a pimp wanted to go fishing, this would be the place to gear up.

With the stock market in the toilet the lure may be a good investment.  ;)

Looks a bit more like a striper/bluefish plug. Imagine casting that bad boy off the tip of some jetty, and the bail snaps close on your reel, SNAP...gone in the wind.

One hell of a sacrafice to the fishin gods, thats for sure

At 3# it may be suitable for trolling for the next world record Blue Marlin,I guess it's true about California being the land of fruits and nuts.

If I were living in 10,000 sq ft home on Malibu Beach I may frame those lures for display in my trophy room.

Looking at there spoons, gold is an extremly soft metal and couple of hits especially from a toothy fish would mangle them up in a New York minute. Gold at apx$850 an oz and I will figure these are 1 oz lures as I did not notice a weight. 14k=58% gold content the Plain Jane spoon would have about $500 worth of gold in it. The other assembly parts have a nil value and the labor isn't much as all you need is a wax mold and centrifugal casting machine, hot torch and a buffing wheel.

WHO WANTS TO GO INTO BUSINESS..........LOL

Any dental tech or jewler could make them.
