What's that gash back by the tail fin he's trying to hide with his thumb?   :D ;D

In the late 80's I had a job offer in San Diego. I was even flown out there to check it out. I was always glad I didn't take it and stayed back East, but everytime I see these huge bass when the water is still in 40's here??? Well, it makes me wonder, what if. :'(

Yes. You are correct. Same lake the 19.75 came out of last week.

All I can say is WOW. :o  That's an amazing fish.  Anybody know what he caught her on?

Crappie jig. ;D

Um, that would be where it was snagged. It's a WEST technique.

(sorry Roger,lol)

Mattlures- any hint as to what the 21.5 was caught on? Baby bluegill perhaps?

Awesome fish!!  I get really jealous when I see fish that big because I know I will probably never get the chance at one.  I live in Minnesota where the fish rarely get over 6Lb.  Consider yourselves lucky to be living where you live.

California dreamin! What a fish!   :o

Here we go again!! C-alifornia and C-controversy both start with"C".

To bad they don't grow that big in my state, our state record is only 10 lbs 14 oz, by the way I live in Jersey.

I'm not questioning the weight of this nice fish or anything like that, but why in the world do fisherman who catch a fish this size still feel the need to hold it strait out  from their body so far?

if you caught a fish like that, i think you would be everything in your power to make that fish look as big as you could, because usually cameras dont justify the fishes size
