I'm leaving for Canada Saturday morning for my vacation.  Coming from an urban area, dotted with rinky dink ponds, it is the best vacation ever.  This is our 5th year at the same lodge and the smallie fishing is ridiculous!  Topwater over 20 feet of water any time of day, pretty much any where in the lake.     Tight lines fellas!

Have a blast and bring us back some pictures of the beautiful landscapes and fishing there.

Whip-poor-will Lodge.  It's on the pickerel river system, Dollars Lake.  Right near Grundy Provincial Park.  Bruce and Jan Jamison run the place and they do a great job.   We're on the American plan, so they cook us three squares a day and we just fish and drink beer on the porch.

I feel pretty lucky to live in Canada!
