I know i do, unless im in a situation where i ABSOLUTLEY CANNOT get to the water, im out there for atleast several casts every single day.

Im on the water about 300 days a year, with trips between 1  and 22 hours.

If I had a private lake or pond in my backyard or within walking distance, Id be there everday, but the closest lake is about 30 minutes away.  In the spring, summer, and early fall I am fishing 4-5 days a week, but this time of year just twice a week on average.  

I'm like Bass fisherman.  Without a decent lake or pond nearby it kinda makes that hard to do.

I'll tell yas, if I didn't live on a lake myself I'd probably only be good for 20 or so days, but seeing as I do live on a lake I'd say I'm around 200 days a year.

I LIVE ON THE WATER, BUT THERE ARE STILL DAYS I'M UNABLE TO FISH. THERE ARE WEEKS WHEN I FISH EVERY DAY BUT ON AVERAGE I WOULD SAY FIVE DAYS PER WEEK.

Uh let's a wife, 4 kids, 1 grandkid, & 1 grandkid on the way all living at home   :-?

I'm there with Catt.  I fish every day in my mind.  The responsibilities of a wife, kids, grandchildren, job, home, and property require too much time to allow for daily fishing.  

When school is over, if I have no homework, if I don't have to go anywhere else, and if it isn't raining, snowing, or hailing, I can go.  That averages out to about 100-150 days a year.

I wish. Too many obligations to fish every day. When you factor in winter, which removes about 3 months from the available times, I get in somewhere around 150 trips a year. And a lot of those are 2 - 4 hour trips after work. It's rare for me to manage an 8+ hour outing.

I fish 2 times per week. I wish I didnt have 2 work and fish every day.

I wish I could fish every day. That would be awesome, but I am like most other folks who have answered before me. I have a wife, 19 month old daughter, a dog, property to manage, a very stressful and tiring job, and a honey-do list that never seems to go away on weekends. Most of the time fishing is not an option. Normally just wishful thinking.

No. Only about 140 days. However, I fish as many hours as some guys who do fish everyday... about 1200 to 1400 a year. Ten hour days are normal for me. 12 to 14 hour days are not that unusual. It's not time to leave until it's too dark to see :-)

During the spring and summer i fish atleast 4 times a week. Usualy more.

My summer trips avrage about 3-8 hours each, my longest this year being 11 hours.

During the winter i fish much less. My hobbie for the cold months is building and rideing road and mountain bikes.

I said no only because of one thing....fall's sun setting earlier. I get off work at 6pm by the time I do go fishing it's dark 25 minutes later, and it takes me 10 to get to the local ponds I hit.

Now during the spring/summer, everyday after work I fish for a while, and the weekends well I probably fish too much. This saturday I am going back to Broken Bow for some smallies, and then the very next weekend (the 5th of nov.) I will be at Fork for hopefully a couple of donkeys.

So this week has been to slow for me, last weekend I was on call, so only went for a couple of hours Sunday, but these next two weekends 8-) :-X

Nope. I fish as much as 5 times per week. But so far I've only gone fishing once in October!  :'(

Nope, ditto to the work, family, general everyday life obligations. Although I would love to be able to fish more, I do get on the water alot considering all the irons I have in the fire. I honestly think if I fished everyday I would get bored with it. I also do not think I could fish for a living, it would then be a job and I don't want to have to catch fish to put food on the table or a roof over my head.

Now, when I retire....that's a different story

I fish on my lunch breaks, so nearly everyday.   Although once the lake freezes over that will probably stop.  Takes to long to drill a hole in the ice.  During the summer I usually get the boat out at least once a week.  This fall has been pretty crappy weather wise though so I haven't gotten out since the first week in Oct.  Which I took off of work to fish.  

Well now, lets see...

M-F work 8-4 for the state.

At least three days a week, work at Lowe's in the evening.

Gotta see the g/f once a week (minmum, she gets mad if not   )

Winter and archery season cut into the fishing time here in PA as well.

From March through September, probably average 4-5 days a week, so 5 times 4...carry the two....20 times a month...times 7 months....carry the 4 and 1.....it works out to around 140 days give or take a few.

Pretty fortunate to have an excellent fisherie in Lake Erie and Rocky River only a few miles away from me...

So I get out about averaging 4 days a week...

I have pulled a few all dayers too, start at 5 am and fish till dark...

Nothing better when you blow your whole saturday fishing and dont catch a single fish  ;D and there is no where else you would rather be.  

You people who live on a lake dont realive how lucky you are!!

too many things in life to juggle to go every day. job, house, wife, kids all take a good portion of my time. fridays are usually my fishing days and i'm out there for about 8 hours. in the summer i'll take my oldest boy whose 3 and go in the evening every now and again but that's just to a tiny neighborhood pond a couple of miles up the road.

I am fortunate enough to have a lake about 75 yards from my back door. i just try not to take it for granted, knowing that some others have to drive an hour or more to get to a lake. im pretty lucky and thankful for that.
