Let's be nice...

When you have a big bass on, or any bass for that matter, maintain pressure on the fish: NEVER give her any slack. Take your time, but bring the fish to you. If it's not pulling drag, it should ALWAYS be moving your way.

Head up, keep chunking, and reeling   ;)

If the bass goes for a jump, keep pressure on it, and reel down.  Also, don't point your rod tip directly at the bass.

It's always the biggest fish that cause us to make the biggest mistakes,

and it only takes a moment of slack line :-[
