zoom baby brush hogs?

Featured Replies

Opinions on this bait? Best way to fish it? Just bought a lot on ebay lol there a little small but hopefully they fish like a 7 worm.

I use them and they are a great bait.  Texas rig them on a 3/0 EWG hook with a 3/16 oz slip sinker. They are an incredible grass edge bait.  Don't be in hurry in the retrieve.

One of my favorite T rig baits, I also use em stuck on a football jig head, I use The *** Brush Bug, better price and they are very tear resistant.

thats what I do and it works--during cold fronts use as small a weight as possible for the extra slow fall

great for bed fishing too

Hey Fellas: I also use them around boulders, and rock piles on the weedy flats, killer bait  there also. Slow is key.

Well thats good I just bought a ton of them lol they sound like a good bait to fish in alot of places  ;D

I use them a lot.  T-rigged or on a shakey head.  I started getting mine from ***.  Like Muddy said, they are a better price, not to mention supporting one of the site's sponsors.

This is a good bait for fishing around trees.  I like to T-rig them with a 3/0 hook.  Some times they work weightless as well.

They are good producers.

Do what the guys say.

Have fun.  ;)

great baits, in fact there my favorite bait to t-rig.i usually put them on a 3ott ewg gamakatsu superline hook rigged with a 1/8 oz bullet weight, 1/8 is my favorite weight size for these baits, but weight size depends on the amount of current, and the depth at which you are targeting bass, and also your personal preference.these baits are also awesome on a carolina rig, and have also been deadly for me when bass are on the beds.

Buy 'em. Use 'em. They will work t-rigged, C-rigged, weightless.

If after trying them you don't like them send them to me. I can return them for you. (return then too the water that is)  ;D

Hope there was some watermelon candy in the ton you bought.  That is my favorite color.

I also agree with what the other guys have said!

Byt he way: I t rig the 6 inch version as well as use that on larger jigheads/The baby size almost always goes on a shakey head or a slider head.

i like the bigger ones myself either t rigged, c rigged or weightless.. i prefer watermelon red to resemble a crawfish. slow is key ill agree with that. i use a 4/0 hook for the large ones. never had as much luck on the lil guys

Any color as long as its green, black or brown ;D

i used zoom baby brush hogs in 07, great bait, i like to T-rig with sharp hooks

green pumpkin

june buyg

watermelon

red bug

black blue flake all work

with the babies i have a lot of success on shakey heads 3/16, and spot removers 3/16, slow retrieve with a lot of rod wiggle, let those legs go to work for ya. The Coosa River spots love em!

Watermelon/red, Green pumpkin/candy, watermelon/chartail

I just got a pac green pumpkin and used them a few times. I noted they seem pretty solid in feel but when I checked them in clear water I was surprised how they glided and floated. Looked great and I think they will do great as soon as I get some confidence in them. Im thinking go to bait on a C rig or try it on about 1/16 oz jig head. Got interested in the brush hog after good sucess with their trick worm 8-)
