CFK Alumni-WHAT A DAY!!!

Featured Replies

:) :)Today was our first annual C.A.S.T. For Kids Alumni Day. :) :)

We had kids come back who attended last years event for a day to refamiliarize them with the gear we gave them, supply some bait and guidance and CATCH SOME FISH!!!

I will give the full report back when I process all the pictures and video.  On that sad note, I lost all my footage for today :( :( :(  180 pictures and 17 video clips.  Everything from my dad catching a fish to another father running across the dirt lot screaming with his pole behind him dragging a 4 ft water snake and jumping up onto the picnic table.  Priceless stuff.  I also had great pics of Glenn's new banner and lots of personal pics of kids I have attachments to,...all lost.  Long story of how but the milk has spilled.

Either way though, lots of cameras were around and I'll give a full reportback in "My Tournament" when I have compiles everyones footage.

A very special thank you, right up front to Christine, Chris and Casey from the R.I. Dept. Of Environmental Management.  On behalf of EVERYONE that attended, we can't tell you how special you made this day for us, you've done you're office and our state, proud.

So, in the report to follow, ....an unbelievable day.  The Jr Bassmasters and their mentors put our guests on trout, crappie and a truckload of bass over 5 lbs with a few 7's and even an 8!!!   The D.E.M volunteer, Chris, had all the kids, knee deep wading in the hatchery corridors with thousands of rainbow trout, teaching all kinds of cool stuff like what the slime is on a fish and so on,...a great day for everyone.

THIS IS RI!!  And this is how we roll.

Matt5.0- Thanks so much for all your help!!

Matt was my "go to" volunteer ;)  Huge help!!!  I think we'll keep him around :)

If my park pond wouldn't suck I would like to do that down here.  Except everybody would drop dead of the heatstroke getting skunked!  ;D ;D

Your doing a good thing man!

It was another GRANDSLAM for CAST For KIDs and a HOMERUN to all of those who helped. Video and Audio is LBH thing but since he learned the meaning of format after the event here are a few of mine.
