Bassin' Fun vs. Fame

Featured Replies

Bass fishing gets a lot of tournament attention, with and words like productive and efficient tagged to it all the time.

Just wondering, is the most of the bassin' crowd focused on fame, or just having fun?

Thanks,

Marc

Speaking for my self only , I do it because I ENJOY fishing.

I just dream about the fame ;D

I do think attention to the sport brings innovations in tackle and boating

I just love the sport of it, the challenge, and it gets me away from everyday pressures of work and such.

I love it. I fish tournaments because I love competition but I don't do it for the fame.

I don't know how I could handle any more fame.   ::)  I fish for fun.

I fish for fun, but even when I fished tournaments, that was for fun too.

only two places in the world where my attention is fully on the one thing i am doing:  the deck of a boat  and in a treestand. So I do it for fun.... And so I don't go crazy!

I just enjoy being on the water, studying the habits of the fish, studying new baits and how to fish them.

I also like some competition, but that can be handled by each of my buddies throwing in a few bucks for the most fish and the largest when we go out.

I do it for fun and to spend time with my Dad.

Do it for the love of fishing especially the challenge in bass fishing.  I would love to do it for the fame

I'm still waiting on a 12-1 brown fish for fame...

In the meantime, I'm fishing for fun!
