When fishing a Texas-rigged worm everyone I have ever fished with says, "There he is" just before setting the hook.

I have never heard anyone except in a commercial say "booyah."

"There he is" - I think I say this to - also FYI there is a book regarding this with that title by Bill Dance - just thought that was a funny coinkydink:

My partner yells "Mother Goose!" as opposed

of some other mother...

::)

The "other goose" finds its way out on my boat from time to time though  ::)

My friend Chad Hoover uses several corny expressions for big fish, LMAO....

I call fish "baby"

On the hook set- " Whoo baby that felt good" ::)

Mid fight- "Common baby stay on there" :-?

Tense moment- " Stay the H-E double hockey sticks on there" :o

After landing the fish- " YEAH BABY!!!!"

hahahaha - that really made me laugh man - I heard "moose" I think, oh yeah, and "booyah" - colorful fella - I like him - nice bass too - hate to see how he reacts to a 10 lber - now that would be a funny video!!!!!

In our boats some common expressions are:

Big Fish - Hawg

Small Fish - PeeJib

When I feel a hit while wormin, i usually just say "uh-oh.."

Hard hit " he destroyed that bait"

When we have a good day we "burn em down"

And when we are making fun of eachother we call eachother Bill Dance in a fecetious tone ie "ole Bill Dance over here dropped the 5 pounder in the lake while takin his picture..."

I got these from Jimmy Houston ;)

Spinner bait is a Spinner bug & when I have one come off at the boat it's a Jimmy Houston quick release!

Me and my brother's go to line is "he hammered it" when talking about getting a fish on a spinnerbait, etc...I dont think its a New England thing, actually, I dont really know where that came from, but we like using the expression  ;D

He's got a few over ten, and one in the 13 lb. class.  He also does a character called "Mo' Bass" complete with hillbilly teeth and goofy hat.

I am from NY originally, now I live in Texas. Down here any bluegill type fish is a "perch", white bass are "whites", and LMB are "blacks". Where I grew we called them sunfish, bluegill, or bass, either smallie or largemouth. When I get bit while wormin' etc, I usually say "there he is". when my buddy is getting bit I usually tell him to "bust his ***!"

Mo Bass sounds like a class act.  Good videos.

Mo-fish was funny - I thought it was really funny at first tough cause I thought it was a setup to mess with the presentation - bummer that it was a setup - he needs to go and spoof those demonstrations for real and get it on video!!  He seems like a funny dude!

Ya know I realized during fishing yesterday that I too say "there he is" never really took notice to it till now, heh heh - and it is usually when fishing the jig or worm - not ever while doing a crank bait or spinner bait.
