I don't really have a favorite. I look forward to Friday nights though. Versus and The Outdoor channel are nothing but fishing.

But my top five would be:

Hunt For Big Fish with Larry D

City Limits

Bass Pros

Roland Martin

Bass Pros

Next Bite

I like shows that give technical information I can use.

Classic Patterns gets my vote, with a Fish PAA coming a close second. Thank God for DVR!  :)

ps/ I usually watch 'em all anyway!

City Limits.

Bass Edge.

Nice Fish.

I've become a pretty big fan of City Limits.  I love Ike's enthusiasm and the fact that it depicts the real results on the water, not the "success" stories of the stocked ponds where everything is a 5+.  There is also a show on VS where they have the pros on. Cant think of the name of it but that's pretty decent as well.

Bass Pro and of course Lunkerville!

Classic Patterns

The Bass Pros

Fish PAA

Bass Edge

great list  :)

i've got WOW basic cable, so i'll watch whatever is on foxsports detroit, espn, or espn2

wgfs with mike zona!

My favorite:

> Lindner's Angling Edge (Al & Jim Lindner)

> Hunt For Big Fish (Larry Dahlberg)

Also Interesting:

> Bill Dance

> Scott Martin Challenge

Roger

Lunkerville, City Limits, an Classic Patterns

awesome shows

City Limits Fishing gets my vote. Having grown up in Brooklyn NY I consider myself an "urban angler" like Ike. The show is fun to watch and informative as well. I learned a lot about patterns, and switching baits often to match the local forage.

To this day my favorite episode is City Limits fishing New York. Ike catches a bluefish by the United Nations and the same day catches a Largemouth in Central park. That is the variety I have experienced and love about this state.

Worlds Greatest Fishing Show

I like Zona's show because he's entertaining which is unique, and I like the other two because they are usually very in-depth and try to help us UNDERSTAND what is happening.

I used to like In Fisherman but now it has to be the LEAST informative show on tv, and as a result has become a show that I refuse to watch. A couple of weeks ago they were fishing in October on the Mississippi, which is where I fish so I thought I could gather a couple of tips, but all they could talk about was the new Rapala crankbait. They didnt mention once anything about the location, current, cover, structure, depth... but they sure had enough time to say the same thing about that crankbait over and over and over and over.

I watch pretty much all of them. I try to take bits and pieces of information that I can use from each show. I know Bill Dance gets beat up because of where he fishes, but for a newer angler, he gives a good bit of detail about what he is doing, and why he is doing it, including water temperature, water clarity, barometer readings, etc.

Jimmy Houston and Roland Martin are my least favorites, but both of them hand out some good pieces of information, if you can wade thru the infomercial to get it. JMHO.

Bass pros is probably my favorite along with Lindner's Angling edge.
