Hi, I'm Matt and im from illinois if you couldn't figure that one out. I just saw this site browsing through one day and i thought it would be fun to join. I can't say i have tons of fishing experience since i am only 16 and have only started to get back into it recently. But im looking forward to talk to you guys and whatnot.

How y'all are?

Welcome Matt.  Ask questions, read and learn.  I have been fishing 60 years, Bass fishing 54 years and I learn something new from this site nearly every day.

Thanks for the support guys. One of the reasons i stopped my fishing for a few years was because i had noone to fish with. Knowing that there are so many friendly people out there willing to help will keep my spirits up.

Pendulum,

With being 16, it gives you more to learn and fish. Actually, learning tips and things from folks and then trying the ones you like is part of the fun!

I would also like to say WELCOME ...

Welcome aboard from another Illini angler!!!  :)  Lots to learn here and look foward to you being a part of this fourm.

Welcom to the board i just joined not that long ago myself

Im from illinois as well and since you live in Illinois you should go check out www.chicagolandfishing.com

There you can hear things about rivers and lakes near you and learn even more tips and tricks and combine it all with what you learn here as well.

Ive done real well browsing both boards
