Hello everyone !  I'm new to the Bass Forums, and thought I'd take a minute to come in and introduce myself.

I'm 31 years old, and have been Bass fishing as long as I could hold a rod.  I'd say the better part of 20 years I have been an avid bass fisherman.  Growing up in a middle class family always guaranteed one thing.  Instead of going to Florida or anywhere out of state for summer breaks my parents would take us all to Kentucky's hottest fishing lakes.  It was cheap, it was fun, and it had me hooked from the first day I caught that 1 lb. Largemouth.   :)

I'm not a know-it-all, and I don't pretend to be, but I have been around the pond a few times.  While most kids were off watching their favorite cartoons, or tv shows I was reading up on Bass behavior, habitat, and elements that affect bass.  Then there was always the "Mom I'm going fishing", and you'd find a skinny 12 year old kid walking down the road with a pole on his shoulder, heading to his favorite fishing hole.  Even at 31 I am still as eager, and anxious when I get that 'hook-up' and start the fight as I was back then as a boy.

I'll chime in when I can, and I may even have a few questions for you seasoned vets.  If anyone would like information on Kentucky's best fishing spots I can help you.  I have been to every major fishing spot in Western Kentucky, and know Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley by heart.

Good to meet you all.

Welcome, great place to share and learn.

Welcome aboard!

Although I really consider myself a "Tennessee River Rat," since I fish below Pickwick Dam, I guess I'm technically a Kentucky Lake fisherman, too!

Welcome!  I'm kinda new here too, and I love this place.

Welcome
