Hello, New to the Forum !

Featured Replies

:)  Hello everybody, I am new to the forum and  have been bass fishin and lovin it for a couple years. I am from California and I fish lakes in the Northern part of Cali such as Lake Mclure, Don Pedro, Pine Flat, Bass Lake, and some others. Lately I started tourney fishin with the fresno bass club and the kerman bass club and noticed I have been only catchin keepers, but nuthin real big in the tourneys. I like to throw jigs and have became very confident to get my limit, however, the weight of my limit is just average.....any one have any ideas, advice, tips, about how to get the bigger bass to bite? Maybe I am not throwing in the right places or not goin deep enough? I would sure appreciate any advice....thanks fellas ;)!

Great you are with us.

Throw larger baits to catch bigger fish.

You will not catch a lot but they will be bigger.

Welcome to the BEST bass forum on the Net, IMO!  Have you tried the Fat Ikas that RW raves about?? I know I'm gonna get me a few packs of them for my next outing. Just a thought. You might also want to try 6" Senkos which seem to attract larger bass.

Welcome to the best fishing site on the net.

You're from Nor Cal and you don't throw big swimbaits? Just kidding. If you like to throw jigs, you are using the "Big Fish" bait. Just keep trying, it should happen. Maybe some bulkier trailers.
