I have been a member for a little while although kinda inactive.  I just had back surgery Thursday so I'll probably be using this board for my fishing jones for a little while, even though I went out last night for a few hours against Dr.'s orders for a quick fix but paid for it in pain this morning.  Anyway, this is just an introduction to everyone.

My Momma always said "A hard head makes a soft butt"! Listen to your Dr. and your Physical Therapist (if you have one). That little bit of fun you had sneaking out could put you in a world of hurt! Have had that surgery myself so this is not just BS. Having said all that , would like to say WELCOME to the forums!!!

Yeah, was a bad Idea but I'm 23 and I guess just got a little stir crazy.  Tried to stick to his orders: sat, no bending or heavy lifting... did do some twisting to which I attribute my pain, well, that and that from casting and such.
