Sup guys,

I've been fishing on and off(more on) since i was around 5 or 6, spent most of my time fishing in colorado for walleye and bass, although I have spent a fair ammount of time, mostly when i was younger fishing off of the fueling dock at my grandpa's restaraunt in florida on the miami river, and a good ammt of time fishing the ponds of hilton head island in SC.

Since moving to new york 3 years ago, I have been spending a ton of time fishing stripers, fluke and blues in raritan bay off of Staten island, as well as annual trips to maine and/or pa depending on what we can schedule.

I tend to target bass primarily in freshwater, but I'm an equal opportunity angler and will pull up whatever is feeling frisky.

Gearwise I use all shimano spinners and conventionals, and while I am liking my new quantum baitcaster, I am in the market for a shimano as well.

Outside of fishing I have been actively drag racing FWD's until the economy tanked, prior to that I spent a few years in RWD's moving through the ranks. I've found fishing to be a much more family and budget friendly activity and something that my son is able to actively participate in.

I tend to be a person who is pretty willing to try new things when fishing, I have yet to find a favorite lure, although my F-5 bleeding pearl rapala is definately one I tend to favor :P. Still trying to work out the effective baits on the freshwater here, as most of what we've caught has been pickerel and crappie, with a mixed handfull of largemouth.

Thanks for the board and look forward to sharing stories, techniques and general bs'in with everyone.

Cyas!
