Hello from a small town Iowa boy

Featured Replies

So I'm Cody, you can call me whatever you like, and I've been fishing for roughly two years. Actually, closer to a year and a half, but I've been absorbing everything I've been taught by a good friend of mine. I'm still learning and I really want to persue an excellence when it comes to fishing. Its a very large passion of mine already, and I plan on continuing to fish for my whole life! Any guidance would be accepted with open arms. :)

Cody, suggestions:

1.  Make a file and save those posts that you wish to review in the file.  I call my fishing file "Fishing File" and save articles from this site, the pros' web sites, Bassmasters e-mails and other information I want to store for future reference.

2.  Start a library of books and DVDs.  Kevin VanDam's two paperbacks are outstanding and any DVDs about how you fish, etc. will enhance your knowledge.

3.  Join a local bass club and learn from those guys.

Before you know it you will be giving us tips and suggestions.  :)
