hey everyone Im from virginia. I have been fishing since i could talk and I have lived on the water most of my life. I used to live on the James river (near the Chesapeake bay) but i recently moved to the Blacksburg area (Center of the state). I am trying to learn how to fish deep lakes. Most the lakes from where I live never get deeper than 20ft so this new style of fishing is intriging and I want to learn more

May I suggest considering joining a local bass club?

You will learn where to launch your boat; what baits work best; what techniques are used; and places to fish each body of water.

Yea thx for this I will look into that. I am already in the Virginia Tech Bass Fishing team and was instucted by Carrington that this forum was a good place to get a foundation in the Knowledge of bass fishing
