Hello everyone from the beautiful (dry) state of Virginia. I'm new here and look forward to reading all the info available, especially about smallmouth. They have been my favorite fish hands down, w/ stripers running second. Its been so for almost 40 years now, since I hooked my first one. Its one of those things that are seared in memory. I live about a 5 minute walk from where the Maury spills into the James River. I feel so grateful. My best to you all. Take care.

I focus on smallmouth in the fall and winter, striper spring through summer and mix in largemouth fishing at local ponds. I sounds like we have a lot in common.
