Man, I love supercars

Hey I saw a Murcielago in my town (well, on the freeway) last week. It was a very different color than I've ever seen on a car.... Dark, glossy, grey. No metallic... just dark grey. With all black parts, and wheels, and limo black glass. Looked very military, and extremely mean !

Still not a fan of the rims that Lamborghini put on it. Mind you, I personally haven't liked a lot of their wheels. The bodywork on that car is gorgeous though. Looks pretty d**n killer.

It´s interesting to see how aesthetic perception changes between one person and another, if I had the money to get me a super car I wouldn´t purchase me a Lambo, believe or not, I don´t like them. There´s something about those straight lines, sharp edges, cut angles that reminds me of a cubist painting, for me looking at a Lambo is like looking at a Picasso, heck, he is one of the greatest painters in the world but forgive but I don´t like his work. I´m more classical, I like Astons ( exclude the Cygnet, man that thing is fugly ! ) and Porsches.

Oh, I'd much rather own a Porsche myself. I can still admire the Lamborghini beauty though. It's a gorgeous car. It's not something I can picture myself driving though. Right now the Porsche Panamera is pretty high on my list of stuff to buy.

I hear you Raul, I too am not a fan of picasso, or really Lamborghini I was always into Ferraris more, although I do have to admit I love the way a lamborghini sounds.

Interesting how that works. Having been fortunate enough to own Porsches and Lamborghinis, I can tell you that now as an older guy I wouldn't buy either one. I find my eye wandering more towards say an Aston Martin DBS or the Ferrari 599 GTB. Both cars are sexy as hell (to me) yet are not as ostentatious as the Murcielago or Porsche.

Lately my car itch is starting up again. I may need to scratch it....

Well, I immediately went and did a search on Grigio Antares, and the first several shots I saw, looked both a lighter shade of grey (they call it titanium) and it looked metallic.... Not like the one I saw. But then I saw another shot of the Grgio, and it looked darker, and non-metallic, like the one I saw. Hmmmmm.

Maybe it's a lighting thing.....

But Ferraris are awesome. So are Bugatti Veyrons. Ultimate Aero's. Dodge Viper's.

I always liked the Lambo Muira. Had great lines. Still have to go a long way to beat the way a 512 Testarossa looks after they pass you!!

The Aston will never be non sexy. That car is just beautiful. The GTB is a nice ride. Not something I could picture myself buying though. Once my daughters are grown up though, a smaller two door is definitely going to be coming back to my driveway.

No dogpiling. I can appreciate a nice corvette just like the next guy. It's just not my cup of tea. If I was to buy an american exotic, my money would go to a Ford GT in dark grey.

I love the early "steel-bumper" C3's......those lines! My dream car would be an early C3 dropped onto a modern chassis.

I just never seen the point for fast, expensive, or the "after market overloads". I don't need speed, thats already regulated, and having an expensive or loaded out the wazoo vehicle depreciates with every turn of the key, it's just not a good investment. My only needs for a vehice are 4x4 for the winter, an 8' bed for firewood, and a tow package for the boat.

Not everything has to be an investment. You don't own an exotic to make money. You own an exotic to burn it.

I understand "Flaunt it if you got it", and even dumping a pile of cash into a house doesn't mean squat it this market as far as investments. Don't get me wrong, I can uderstand beauty in objects(look in my gun room), but its hard for me to grasp all of the time, energy, and sweat equity put into a machine I can't (legally) open up, or have to park a mile away to avoid door dings and bird bombs. I would probably stroke out just from worry . I'm married with children, I have enough stress .

Having a 'gun room' is no different than having an exotic. Do you need all those guns? Do your friends oooh and aaah over them when they come visit? Are you capable of using them to their full abilities?
