Identify This Bug

Featured Replies

I have never seen this kind of bug before before, but we have a lot of them in our yard this year. I live in Central Florida and we started seeing them about 1 month ago.

The picture isn't real clear.

A young wheel bug?

We not have those in south Florida. I have never seen one of those. Strange looking bug. Do they bite?

Bait.

Any bug that requires a 5/0 hook to use for bait, ain't worth catching.:surprised-038:

Thanks Guys definitely looks like a wheel bug. I haven't seen them before but I have lived in central florida for almost 30 years. I wonder if they are new to the area.
