i like the baits for smallies. i have a lot of WW's but these 3 get the most use:

i caught 2 walleyes using the middle one yesterday........lol. 2 small bass as well.

It's a must have. I personally like phantom green craw, fluorescent red craw, and brown/chartreuse craw.

I know stringjam likes them and that guy knows crankbaits so I'm sure they're good lures. I know some guys who catch a lot of smallies with 'em on the river.

I have a few and I am always on the lookout for a few more if the colors are right. Very good crankbaits.

Yes indeed.  :o

IMO, one of the finest crankbait designs in life.....especially when it comes to rocky banks and craw patterns.

Are the new ones with the two part bill as good as the old ones?

One of the best medium/deep fat crankbaits around. Great for banging off cover.

Wiggle warts are definitely a bait to have.  My dad would never go walleye fishing without a Mag Wart.

Yes, but they are different.

Those were the models Rapala started making when they originally bought out Storm.  They come in a yellow box and to my knowledge aren't made anymore.

One of the great spring baits.  I use Pre-Rapala baits only.  I have quite a few colors that just aren't made anymore.  You can find the pre-Rapala baits on ebay but they are pricey.

How are they different Raul? Can you explain?

I've never used one but long time wiggle wart users at other forums gave them a big thumbs down.  The action wasn't the same.

They move and sound different, the color palette had nothing to do with the newer "old" version that 's been manufactured today. They are actually two different baits with the same name. Both are proven fish catcher for me, ya know, there are days that you slain them with one version while the other doesn 't get a sniff.

Also, another difference were the models, you had the subwart, mid-wart, wiggle wart, deep wart, same body different bill.

We don't need to be talking too much about the Sub-wart  :o
