Sons 20Th Birthday Fishing Trip To Okoboji/spirit Lake Ia

Featured Replies

What a great trip to Okoboji/Spirit Lake Ia. The bass were a little tough but three days limit of Walleye will be great eating for several meals. My son is developing into a great fisherman and a better man. What a fun trip.

Looks like you guys had a good trip and a good mixed bag of fish! I'd much rather have a slow trip with quality fish than catching tons of dinks!

I didn't even see the smallie at first.

RWHusker- WTG the photos are nice. I still would like to catch me some Walleye, never caught one. Those LMB are nice also. Did the son beat out the dad?? How many Did y'all end up with?

Hopefully my son will still want to fish at 20. Right now he about to be 4 in August but loves to fish.

Father and son trips are the best. Congratulations!

Thank you for all the nice thoughts. We're blessed with great kids and better yet ones that love the outdoors. Endless my son was 4 last week or it sure seems like it, don't miss any opportunities to be together as the time fly's.
