my wife found this on the ground by the local fishing hole, i've never really used plastic worms, but this thing is killer. i was wondering if any of you knew what this was. i asked the local bait shops but they wouldnt know a sinker from a bobber.

It's probably not a Lake Fork Tackle worm but the rings around the body are similar.

i'll have to look that up, i was using it in some grass and BAM! i had me a nice 14" LM bass and a few minutes later i had another one on the line . I never really had faith in this kinda setup, i always prefer top water or a crank bait. but man.. i think im already addicted to it.

Check Trigger X as well they have the rings to I think. The bargain Big Bite worms have rings too. The 98cent ones.

the rings on it are like 1/8th inch deep... maybe a little bit shallower but. im really considering getting some decent baits that may be similar, i like the twister tail tho, any suggestions on what to get? Berkley power bait?

its a pulse worm duhhhhhhhh lol jk but yea a pulse worm i got a bag of 50 green pumkinseed ones i got from a friend i believe there net bait but not completely sure and yes they are amazing womrs.

Several companies make rib worms that all do basically the same thing. I like the Zoom big dead ringer but have had luck with several others.

Check out the Barlow's Tackle Shop website. They're located in Texas. They sell worms identical to this in a bunch of colors.

Honestly, I wouldn't get too hung up on trying to find the exact worm. Pretty much any ribbon-tail worm will work. Culprit, Berkeley Power Worm, Zoom, NetBait, Barlow's... I use 'em all. Just choose one in the same (or similar) color and go catch some bass!

looks like a luck E strike worm to me. cheapo worms, work well though. get culprit zoom or rage tail, or xfactor, hell it doesn't matter get whatever worm from whoever and you'll catch fish.

I agree with tholmes. I would concentrate on many other aspects before the actual worm I am throwing including: technique, weight size, retrieve, location, size, color, etc.

Alex, if you have confidence in that worm and you found a source, then I say, get as many as you think you need and then some. Fish with confidence and work on technique and presentation while you're doing it.
