I was wondering if anyone has used the Strike King Perfect Plastic Ocho in the 5' or the 7'

love the 5 inch, the only neg.is they are almost too soft

you just rig it weedless or with a weight

I have just started using them about 3 weeks ago.

They have really produced for me on a wacky rig setup.

I used the baby bass color in 5'

I like them and have it has produced for me, but it's too soft.  Go ahead and try them out, it's a good bait.  I'm going to go back to the YUM dingers.  IMO, they work just as good and you get 4 more for the same price I believe.

with all of the stick baits I have tried, I have found that they all work about equally.  What you'll want to figure out is which is more durable, and which is the best bang for buck.  That turns into an opinion, so try a few stick baits and see what's what.  

Ochos seem quite different than Senkos, to me.  They fall a little slower, have a different shape and texture, contain scent, and are a well made bait.  They do catch fish.  Whether they are that much different to the fish, I have no idea.

Agree with J about fall rate. Probably a touch more durable than Senkos. Here is the litmus test. Compare action as the bait falls.

IMHO, Senkos and Ochos have the best wiggle or shimmy on the fall.

Next are Tiki Sticks, which have a very slow fall rate.

Next would be the Dingers.

Durability would be Tiki Sticks first, Dingers, Ochos, and Senkos last.

As far as value, you have to decide. They all catch fish. I stocked up on Tiki Sticks when their old website had them on sale for $1.00 a bag.

Bought enough to last a lifetime. Those days are over now though.

These are the only 4 name brand stick bates I've used.

Used alot of Senkos. Grew weary of replacing after every fish and a half and went to YumDingers. Not sure why, but the few I tried did not have the action it seemed I wanted, back to Senkos. Quickly, even Bait (BaitMonkey, we are on a first name basis now) says "Twitch, these are costing us a fortune". Tried the Ocho and really liked the Ocho and # fish before dumping it is technically better than 1 1/2.

THEN, thanks to you all, was introduced to this great company called ***! Only bought 3 bags each of "Dent-n-Dings" and "Armed Robbery". Went to a spot I always catch fish and (I am NOT exagerating) FIFTEEN FISH later replaced Brent's first stick.

I don't think I will change back.
