Hey everyone, I'm 18 years old, from Shasta County in Nor Cal. I've been fishing more and more for the past few years, and this last year I started getting more into it. I caught a few fish when I was a little younger but didnt quite have a knack for it, nor the time for it cuz I was always playing sports. Got my first baitcasting setup last year for a h.s. grad present from my parents, but before that all I used was spinning setups. I fish almost exclusively for spotted bass, largemouth, and smallies. Shasta Lake is my local lake so I fish there most often. I've fished Lake Cali for largemouth but only cuz I have relatives who live there. I now have 3 baitcasting setups and 1 spinning setup, which has been dropped and smacked around (good thing it's not anything of high value) anyway, I've ran across this forum probably a couple times or more while looking for tips, etc. but never took the time to register til now. Seems to be alot of ppl from the same general area as me on here so thats nice to see. Glad I joined the forum. I'm sure I'll be putting it to good use.
