Birth Control Suggestion

My wife agreed to buy our 1 year old grandson some new shoes so we took the baby to Saxon Shoes Kids Shoe Store in the Short Pump Town Center mall today.

After two hours of waiting to be serviced and then selecting a number of shoes to consider my son and daughter-in-law finally selected a pair of shoes for the kid.

TWO HOURS! IT TOOK TWO HOURS TO GET A ONE YEAR OLD SOME SHOES. TOTAL TORTURE. IT WAS HORRIBLE.

So any of you guys out there who are having some good times and sometimes forget to protect yourself and your girlfriend for an unwanted event, may I suggest going to a kids shoe store and spending TWO HOURS trying to select a pair of shoes for a one-year old.

TOTAL TORTURE.

Be safe and be smart and don't ever worry about getting a one year old new shoes. Go fishing instead and send your wife with the kid.

The smart thing would've been not being roped into going to the shoe store

It takes us 15 minutes.....birth contorl would be how much more money you need to bring in once you have a kid....Kids are extremely expensive!

I have always felt that the kids being expensive bit was overplayed.

Then I started buying sports equipment for the older boys. BUT the biggest expense IS ALL THE STUFF THEY BREAK

You Sir, have a lot to learn! :cry3:

First off Bass Pro sells kids shoes= Winning! ;)

Second off my 2 & 5 yr old LOVE ot go to Pass Pro!

My 5yr old would rather get a package of Flukes than a new toy! :respect-059:

You just need to learn to work the angles then it'll all fall into place.

oh yeah, it's all about the angles...

Thats what Grandmas are for.

I ALWAYS have a "project" that I need to get finished when those type of trips come up. It usually works, if not, then I volunteer to watch the other kids at home instead of "hearding cats" at the shoestore.

Yup every year i throw out 2-3 garbage bags full of broken toys. $5 here,$10 there,$20-$40 for a toy he hates and never plays with anymore and half the parts are missing.Every year we have to buy him ALL new clothes,he keeps growing out of them.

Baby boy wants to be just like daddy. So he has three pairs of boots, 1 pair of trainers, and a pair of tevas. Shoes are easy to get for him. Bass pro and academy all the way.

Spending two hours with your grandkid/ family shoe shopping labled as "total torture"........what????? Some people don't have a clue. Yeah.....this forum almost burst into flames while you were away, too bad you missed it while being tortured.

Hush you. Kids are fun....

Just don't plan on having really expensive toys for a while.

My kids are FAR more rewarding than any expensive toy I could buy.

There are two types of fun in life, those with kids and those who don't have kids. Livng life without kids is fun and so is living life with'em.
