I contacted a reliable source for the answer on PAA discount. 30% for the Affinity level membership. Check with PAA if there is a recent change however.

I felt the same way after signing up. Just be patient. Once you get another email( about a week) then email back asking to get setup for the member store. Your Paa login and password does not work for the store. The $20 Affinity is all you need for the discounts. The same discount applies to General and Affinity.

You guys not believing me or what??? The membership "access" took around a week as far as I can recall. I had also heard that it was 40% but that's not what it says when I'm in there (maybe it recently changed to less of a discount?).

I joined two days ago. I didn't get immediate access so I left a message using the form on their contact page and they got back to me the next day. They just asked for the username and password I wanted to use and they got me set up within a few hours.

I also see 25% discount on Dobyns. I have the basic $20 membership.

Do the more expensive memberships get a bigger discount?

Any one know of vendors that will discount Dobyn rods?

Tackle warehouse does discounts a few times a year that include Dobyns Rod

I have seen some discounted prices on Amazon for some of their higher level rods. Some of these are direct from Amazon and others are from 3rd party stores.

You may want to see what retailers are selling Dobyns rods on Amazon and contact those retailers directly to see if they will work a deal for you

eBay coupons pop up often and American Legacy honors them

Check dobyns website as well. I have bought a few rods used from them, that were trade in rods.

Im assuming by your name that you are in Toledo, OH. I am as well. Go to Janns netcraft in Maumee and talk with them. If you are in the showroom they are willing to deal but not if you go through their site. I got a fury for $95 when I went.

professional angling association, presumably. I'm not sure if the PAA and NPAA are the same thing. The NPAA is what every Google search leads to, however there appears to be differences from what everyone here Is talking about.
