Faith, family, and friends.

Fresh asparagus sauteed in butter and covered with hollandaise sauce is worthy of honorable mention.

My wife and boy's, coaching them in football, watching football, big smallmouth a good hot dog, and Jet's BBQ chicken pizza.

curried asparagus anyone?

This is an inside joke I should explain.

Last year, on a trip to Trophy Country, I was slaving away in the kitchen, preparing a nice hot meal for everybody.

Everybody said "man that smells good, what is it"?

"A Thai curry dish", I replied.

To which Long Mike, my buddy, replied, "did I mention I hate curry"?

He said it twice.

I was tempted to not serve him any.

My dog of 14 years had to be put down last Friday. He was a beautiful little Corgie.

We are getting a new dog from Corgie Rescue on Wednesday.

The loss of a dog is tragic to everyone that has learned the joy of having them in our lives. Your post brings up the thought that some day we will have to do the same with ours. Perhaps the reason I copied Glenn's previous reply on this subject.

While there is grief in your post, I also found it heartening that you've chosen to rescue a new member for your pack. Candi's luck has changed for the better.
