Let us know how the day care pond works out for you. I have fished it 3 times with NO bites, so I was beginning to wonder. How is the moss out there? Last 2 times it was terrible!

Hey Guys,  Haven't been on here in a million years but, since I've been away I've had some luck. All these fish were weighed and released. The picture at night was at Chickasaw Gardens. 7lbs

  • Saw this one crash the bank on some shad. He took the squarebill in two casts. It was so windy, I had to cast it inland to get it to fall in his zone a few feet off the bank. 3.2lbs, Johnson-fountains

  • Recent catches since Sunday. Top-3.8, bottom left-3.6, bottom right-2.9. All on t-rigged worms of different colors, all between 8:30am and 10:30am. Johnson Park ponds.

no moss at all today...just the lily pads around the edges...the place intrigues me, there are definitely bass in there (i spooked at least 5-6 walking the bank), but they seem pretty skiddish, i guess it comes with the territory, 1 acre ponds.

which day care are yall talking about?

Hey Memphis guys, new guy here I've fished some of those lakes, esp the ones in Neshoba park with good sucess. The fish you see was caught there on a grape culprit worm, last year. Haven't hit that place up in a while. The snakes I hate.

Is Grove the lake with a real small parking area on the northeast side, off the Dogwood Creek neighborhood street?

Ive fished there before..

i might have to try the neshoba out never have

Probably going pond hoping in the morning. Gotta try out my new rage tails out

Anybody fished Herb Parson's lately? If so, what worked? Planning to go this weekend

Went 2weeks ago. I used crank baits and caught a few. Then a smaller crappie crank and caught 10 bream

Remember what color cranks Tim?

I know one was chartreuse and white. The other I believe was white and red

I saw where there is public fishing on the wolf river where it meets the Mississippi at the north end of Mud Island. Anyone fished there? If so, did you have any luck?

Headed out to Johnson tomorrow, will keep you guys updated. - Bass Man

im going somewere sat lol

have not tried johnson park yet.

@tim4vols hopefully the new pond in the back left is in the flght path of some migratory birds, and they dropped some fish eggs

man i couldnt catch a bass to save my life at grove park, neshoba or the day care lol had to swap poles and catch brim to feel better. saw good fish out there tho

I also wanted to share a place a friend of mine from work told me about. I call in the #1 pond because it's shaped like #1 He is from Rossville and told me he helped sponsor a fishing tournament for children a few years back and they stocked this pond. It in the back of Hunting farms development but they only built a few homes. Once you get back there it's like having your own private small lake, it's pretty big. He has told me there are plenty of cat fish in it. I fished it yesterday though without a bite even though decent sized fish could be seen jumping out of the water apparently feeding. If anyone wants to add it to your list of places to go it's quite peaceful. It's just of 57 (Poplar ave) ave you go through Rossville, you drive to the back of the development and will see the fishing sign.

Hey you guys im new to the forum and had a few questions! I just bought a 6in huddelston swimbait and a few kanan swimbaits and was wondering which lake in the Germantown area would be best for me to try to catch a monster on one of these. I was thinking about maybe either Collierville city hall or Neshoba but yalls suggestions would be great! Thanks
