How do you store your spinnerbaits?

Featured Replies

In a spinnerbait box of course! I just found some Plano boxes at Wal-Mart that hold 22 spinners for $2.99 each man!

Both of those look like they would work very well. I never knew there was a spinnerbait box, I've got to buy one.

the only bad thing about spinnerbait boxes is that they take up a ton of room.

True. The bag would be better to put in your tackle bag.

i used the box before I got a Cooks to go system for my boat. I must say after seeing Dan's bag today I am convinced that is the way to go if not fishing from a boat primarily.

Yeah those bags are great, I use them for my plastics, I did use them for spinnerbaits as well but still needed something better for buzzbaits, why I switched to the spinner / buzzbait combo box.  Its about same thickness as most plano boxes.

I use the Falcon Spinner Bait box, holds 30 spinner baits and the Falcon Buzz Bait box holds 28 Buzz Baits. They are awesome.

Plus BPS has all their hard storage boxes 20% off right now.

Later, :)

I have an ole school hard spinner bait box made by Plano, it can hold over 100 spinner baits. I only keep a dozen spinner baits and a dozen buzz baits along with trailers, skirts, blades, split ring pliers, tiny flashlight, reading glasses ect.

I used to have an old style spinnerbait box.  So old the plastic was falling apart and cracking due to rot.   Got rid of it when I saw this tip on another forum.

It's a CD case.

That's exactly what mine is like but bigger. I even thought about using a CD case but I couldn't find one around the house.

I use an old style box.

the CD case is an amazing idea, thanx for sharing!

I use the Falcon FTO 701 Spinnerbait Organizer....checkout Tackle Warehouse site - (Sorry, I'm a newbie and would put in a link directly to it, but I'm not allowed to until I post 10 "Normal" messages) :'(

I keep all my spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, and chatterbaits in a BPS binder.

I've literally tried just about every spinnerbait box, wallet, binder, whatever out there, and have settled on the FTO wallet.  It works well with every type of spinnerbait, except the Secret Weapon Lures baits.

made a rack with some eye hooks and a peice of 1x2 on the underside of one of the hatchs in the boat.

Brian - it's hard to tell from the pic but, are those stored on the underside of a rod-box lid? If so, that's ingenious!
