I am from Wisconsin. I just joined. I fish mainly the 75 mile river here with very little success. I started fishing about 5 years ago. I really fish for bass. Once in a while I ll fish the harbor for salmon. I have two girls and am married.

Welcome. I have only fished Sheboygan for salmon during the fall run. I'd recommend Door County for smallies and just about any inland lake for largemouth. Are you far from the Oshkosh Chain? Haven't fished it yet but I hear it's a good fishery.
Is "basstiality" the same as sleeping with the fishes?

I live about an hour or so away from Oshkosh. I don t have a boat so fishing inland lakes are kind of hard for me. Where in Door County would you recommend?

If your shorebound, your limited to the old stone quarry in Sturgeon Bay, the park by the old bridge in Sturgeon Bay(I don't know what it's called but you can ask anyone where it's at), try Weborg Point in Penninsula State Park, and Andersons Pier in Ephraim. You might be able to pick some up at the old Baileys Harbor yacht club. In Rowleys Bay there is a place called Rowleys Bay Resort (formerly Wagon Wheel Resort). They used to rent boats, don't know if the new resort does or doesn't. You have direct access to the Mink River which is a good spawn post spawn area for bass and huge pike.

I'd live in Wisconsin in a heartbeat if it didn't get so cold. Difficult enough for me to get thru a Virginia winter!! This year has been the best winter ever here!! My wife is from LaCrosse so I've fished the Mississippi and some places around Spring Green. Must say its beautyful. Welcome to the site and have fun!
If you didn't already know, The Black Keys are for real.
