  1. OK. Honestly I have no clue what happened. Like I said, When a post is deleted it goes into a recycle bin just in case it needs to be recalled. We also can hide a post so the staff can review it. But your post wasn't in either place. It's almost like you never posted it. I'll ask Glenn if something may have happed internally. For the record. We take deleting posts very seriously. We always talk about it among the mods before it is removed. If we all agree that it should be removed then it is placed in the recycle bin. Of course there are the obvious ones like spam.
  2. I've looked everywhere for that post. When things are deleted they go to a Recycle Bin and we are able to pull it right up but I don't even see it in there. Can you post a link to the thread you are talking about?
  3. I use just about any straight tail worm. I've tried it with a ribbon tail but it seems to get wrapped up to much.
  4. Yes, Barbs are inportant on any moving baits. Cranks, Spinners and Buzzbaits.
  5. There ya go!!!
  6. I used to do it with my friend and his dad. They had an awesome pack of dogs. One was a Grand Night Champion for two or three years.
  7. I used to be on a team several years ago and I almost went broke. I have since sold all my stuff and sticking to fishing.
  8. I fish barbless when fishing with soft plastics all of the time and so do all of my clients and it is very rare to loose a fish even when the line goes slack.
  9. Like I've said for the past few years. If an SEC team is lucky enough to make it through their conference with a good record and minor injuries then they will win the Championship.
  10. I've had this happen before so I now have some tiny zip ties in my box. I also use the zip tie if I want to add a few colors to my skirt in a pinch.
  11. That's an awesome fish. Congrats to her. Sometimes I wish my wife would go fishing with me. Maybe some day.
  12. That also describes a catfish and people eat them all the time. Carp taste good. You can cook them any way you cook other fish. You just need to make sure the water you catch them in is good and that you remove the brown meat when you fillet them out.
  13. also remember that if you are using those new punching hook like the Paycheck hooks you must snell your hook to get the best possible hookset. If not you will loose alot of fish.
  14. The thing I like about his jigs it that if you are looking for something specific and he doesn't have it he will do whatever he can to help you out. His jigs are always top quality.
  15. I just thew-up in my mouth. Guys, I'm writing down the names of those who said they would help. If you didn't accually say you would help then your name will not be on my list..... Catt, I got you down.
  16. That's great. I can't stop laughing. Just a word for those who aren't sure they want to do this because we aren't making the details public. We would never ask you to do anything that you can't do or that is illegal. When you are chosen and you find out the details you can always pull out. All we ask is that you let us know. Like the original post says, "This won't take up much of your time." We are going to pick several to start with and then even more if it works out like we hope it will. Thanks for your trust and willingness to help us out. You guys are the best.
  17. I use the Punch Stops. I think they come in two sizes. They work fine for me.
  18. Always. I use a large swivel at least 18" above the hook to give the line a little weight and lower the fluke or trick worm in the water a few more inches. It also lets me work it a little faster.
  19. When it comes to scent I haven't found anything better than JJ's Magic and Megastrike. I've got a drawer in my garage that is full of just about every scent there is and I've tried all of them.
  20. It's one of the best things I have ever used for hunting. I don't go in the woods without it. Just don't use it in an enclosed, unvented tent.
  21. Welcome from a fellow Georgia Boy I moved your newest post to a new thread in the General Section. You will get more help there for a question like that.
  22. How about over the phone? I've got the phone number for a couple of tackle store who will have anything you are looking for. They will mail it to you.
  23. I fish a lake that could be considered a very controlled environment. We know who fished it when and what they used. One day I caught a fish that had some fishing line hanging out of it's mouth. A small piece of skin in the corner of his mouth had actually grown around the line, and in the gut was a hook with with a worm on it. I know exactly when that type of worm was used last and it was over 8 months prior. Although the hook was badly rusted it was still in the fish's gut.
  24. Here's another fish caught on a HPH
