Bass Frogs?
I haven't fished them yet but I have held one in my hand. They are made from a tough but soft material and look like they would hold up to some serious torture. I will have to agree that they do look gimmicky but that's still not going to prevent me from checking them out just to see how they do. Alot of gimmicky looking lures have turned out to be good lures.

Guys, Help Me Find The List Of Br Sponsors...thanks
I don't think it made it into the changes. It shouldn't be hard to get it going though. I'll check into it after they get back from the Roadtrip.

dirty dog bass
I go shallow. I go dark. I make alot of pitches and flips to the same target. Keeping the bait as close to the target as possible. Another option is to use a loud spinnerbait or crankbait with a lot of wobble. But a jig is my first choice.

koppers frog?
Some of the best topwater fishing is done in low light. Like when the sky is overcast. But a white bellied frog can't be seen with the backdrop of a white sky. This is why you need different colors.

North American Fishing Club
Before I lock this thread (Because that's what we do with threads about scam companies) let me explain the NAFC/NAHC. They are perhaps the worst magazine in the industry. They sucker you in by saying you will have a chance at receiving free product to test out and then you get to keep it. My father has been a member of the NAHC for over 20 years and the coolest thing he has received is a little key chain. It is a scam to get you to subscribe to their magazine and that's it.

Here in my part of Georgia I can start catching spawning fish around the 15th of March and will find them spawning in mid July in the Savannah River below the Clarks Hill Dam.

Managing Private Lakes
Double how many bass you take out and put in more cover for the bait fish to hide and grow bigger. Give the baitfish a chance to grow to a size where they are more beneficial to the bass when they get eaten. Thick brush piles work well but if you want a more permanent place for the baitfish then 15 or 20 milk crates anchored upside down in 3-5ft of water works well. When they become to big to hide in them they are the perfect size for a big bass to eat. You might even want to stock more bluegill and fathead minnows depending on where you live. More food for less bass is how you keep them growing. Keep a lenght/weight record of every fish that is caught out of the lake. This will let you know if what you are doing is working. Once you reach your goal keep taking bass out or it will happen all over again. Even the father of catch and release, Ray Scott, will tell you that catch and release is fine for large public lakes but if you do it in small private lakes you are killing your chances at a true trophy.

White On Gill Plate?
Was it pointed out by someone who saw the picture or someone who saw the bass when you caught it? The reason I ask is because it looks normal to me. You are flairing the gills out alot and the white looks like the rakers that are on the inside edge of the gills.

Accuracy With Casts
I've been using a baitcaster for about 9 years now and you will still see me just about every day standing on my back porch practicing. I have a bunch of small sections of 4 inch PVC pipe in my back yard that my boys and I practice casting to. Some are close and some are far. I let my boys move them around the yard to challenge me and each other. It's a great game and it really works. Right now I'm teaching my left hand how to pitch. I'm good to about 15ft but I'm working on longer pitches. Side arm is always easiest. I cast side arm 99% of the time. It give you greater accuracy and limits the splash. Most of the time a long cast isn't the best anyway because it makes a hookset more difficult. Keep practicing and you'll get it.

Water Temperature Question
I have one of these. I just hook a weight on the end and sink it down. I have the cord marked at every foot and it really helps. It also helps me match the temperature in my livewell to the temperature at the depth where the fish were. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001PTHKTE/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_1?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B001PTHKTO&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1F496RQM1Y77ADGTMD4Z
