cleaning said reel, giving the frame a bath in the same cleaner my Fuego and Sol was in and got this....... any ideas on this heavily tarnished frame/sideplate?

i can throw an over hand knot 25 yards with a flick of the wrist. under hand knots i struggle with. 8-)

i think super tuning is 90% fad, 5% kick asss customer service, and 5% keeping up with the Jones. id rather just fish.

i dont buy much tackle these days. it no longer fills the void of not fishing. and its expensive.

everyone cleans their gear differently. ive never used simple green, but i have used a simple green type degreaser thats safe for plastic and thats all that goes in that cleaner. all of the brass/aluminum/steel parts get soaked in acetone. painted frames gets a bath in the simple green type cleaner.

is that a pellet gun? ive never seen sights like that before.

your rod will have some affect on the ease of casting. id start out with a limber rod.

a used abu 4600 C4 isnt the worst idea either. picking the right rod will affect backlashes as well.

i dont hide my gear. i hid a pistol from my wife once and after that catastrophe ive never done it again. plus, she lets me buy what i need and i plan for what i want.

the Extreme XTR70MT-Crank is my deep/heavy cranking stick and i love it. these rods are a heavy rod which i like when tossing the bigger cranks.
