  1. Awsome we wil have to break it in on Johnson's.
  2. Everyone should just try to win the smallie division. ;D

OOOOOOOOOO yes. In either the whites (White Ice, Pearl, Albino Shad) or Watermelon. Hey RW, we acctually agree on something? ;D
  4. Matt call me, the guys who work at the BPS Foxboro are great and are better than any Nitro/Tracker dealer around.
  5. Yup, lol. I won't be looking at Kistlers anytime soon.
  6. Dang girl, you fine!!!
  7. The spawn is never going to happen if this weather keeps up. Watching the news and same thing as last weekend. Warm until Friday, (Just when a wave of fish will come up) then boom, a cold rain and cold temps for the weekend. > :
  8. Robert what model do you have? I have a 7'3" MH Casting Carrot and it is a heavy duty frog and jig rod. Nothing crankbait about it.
  9. Yesterday I only saw a few beds on the Zeke's side of Johnson's but was catching post-spawn fish. :-/
  10. Drop-shots, tubes, and jerkbaits will catch plenty of smallies. Just find a spawning flat and then fish the closest rock formation in deeper water. The more wind the better.
  11. You should see post-spawn 12" fish up here. I have seen some go .59, it is pretty pathetic. We had a usual Thursday night tourney right after they were on beds, 10 fish limit, winning weight was 9.97. Thats one of those things I will never forget.
  12. The idea is to PACK it with MOJO, not steal from it!! Don't worry, I will recharge it. ;D

If I had one in my boat I would have to get a third job to put money in the jar. :
  14. I'm gonna be needing that thing in June, I'm going to be needing all the help I can get on the Weekend Series.
  15. I liked both until the beginning of this year. I have had two smallies break one of the Gammy's off the set on jerkbaits (got them in on other ones). Both times were right in the bend of the hook and the other part was still in their jaw. This has just cause me to loose all confidence in Gammy's for the last time. I have snapped their Superline hooks on hooksets with 30 pound braid, and snapped their G-Locks (just ask 5.0). I think their quality has gone down in the past few years. But just my experiences.... :
  16. Just another reason to kill them all.
  17. Yo WTRDOG, nice mullet. 8-)
  18. Or better yet, Tony in CT. ;D
  19. If it did or did not happen to you think B.A.S.S. would write about it in it's own publication? Plus, look at what the heart-less you know what's did to the kids and their youth program this year, do you really think they care about a couple of dead fish? B.A.S.S has bigger problems right now, like still being afloat in ten years.
  20. Ok, to each his own, just curious.
  21. Or maybe G Loomis will come out with a split grip ;D Check back in 2050. :-X ;D Who knows, maybe Loomis and Croix will update their rods so you don't feel like you are fishing with a broom handle. And Yozuri Hybrid Ultra Soft will float. ;D
  22. Ya, but still a better shot than you do. ;D We had a cold front and a ton of cold rain drop water temps from upper sixties/low seventies to mid to low fifties in 4 days (fish were all over beds last weekend), after our 20 degree warm up in two weeks. Fishing was brutal all over New England, I know around here it would only take 5 or 6 pounds to take home a couple hundred in a few tournies over the weekend. But now with the warm temps this week it should get things back to normal as long as we don't have another week like last after this one. :
  23. The tail end that isn't on the shakey head will just sink after a few seconds. But they have always put fish in the boat for me. One day 5.0 and I were messing around with different shakey/finesse worms, and since I don't fish anything but a Berkely Shakey Head worm (The original not GULP) on a shakey head. Just put it on a Spot Remove and watch what it does in the water.
  24. Huh, thats the first one I have heard, what didn't you like about it? I own a couple Carrots and love them, super light, and super sensitive. And the price is hard to beat. Fish with an Avid or IMX then fish a Carrot and you would be amazed.
