  1. Wait until around the full moon periods in June and July. August is ok but they usually kill the grass by then. Fish late afternoon and as long through the night as you can. Thanks man, I will do that. I absolutely love night fishing, so I can go out, catch the dusk bite, and fish til like midnight or something. Sounds like a good Friday night Especially with my super secret magic night fishing bait. Midnight??? Try 2 or 3. They fish clubbers out there in the summer from 6-2am, or 8-4am because it is such a good night pond. Forget everything you know when it comes to night fishing and just fish a jitterbug. Old school but it is a blast.
  2. Congrats! Skip right over the Zebco, give him a pitchin rod, and teach him how to fish a jig ASAP.
  3. Also need to give credit to a few others, Ellsbury made a heck of a catch. Lugo and Youk also saved a few.
  4. It couldn't have happened to a more deserving guy . . . the first no-hitter of the season. That's one heck of a story. Another guy from the farm-team throws a no hitter. 8-)

Sure I get a lack of common sense from her side, but I must get my fish-catching abilities from her side as well because you sure don't have any. ;D

If the Pens can play like they did in their last game against Philly they can beat anyone. But I don't see that happening.
  7. Your on a tare this year Mike. Keep it up
  8. Don't get any ideas, I'm not squealing like a pig. Nahh, thats the Macho Man, not me. :
  9. Wow Jimzee, you got a purdy mouth.
  10. Rub that braid on a rock and see just how abrasion resistant it is. Yup, that is a bad combo. I like the Trilene 100% flouro
  11. You buy the tickets for October and you can stay at my place for the month.

Ok what is this about waterproofing?
  13. Had a good discussion with a guy over the weekend about it. Do you think guys like Hank Parker and Bill Dance could hang with in the Elite Series? His point was that they were not up with all the new things (lures, lake patterns that have changed, technology with fish finders and such) so they couldn't. I said they must be up on the new stuff and technology so they could represent their sponsors and they could find new patterns by just pre-fishing. What do you guys think?

  15. That's great, enjoy every second of being home!!!! Thank you so much again for serving our country. I don't think it can be said enough.
  16. It is not tackle or rods/reels/line so I figured I would put it here. The rain-gear is made by Lodge Outfitters. I believe it is made of a Gore-Tex "like" material. It is getting a litte dirty and needs to be washed. Any step by step directions out there? Also on really dirty areas or stains what should I use and what shouldn't I use? Thanks
  17. If she isn't, I would look for the closest cover near the bed. A dock, brush, clump of grass, a slight drop infront of her bed ect....

Zoom's are ok but you can catch fish after fish on Berkley Shakey Head worms, they float the whole time it is on the jig-head as well. Where as Zoom's die out after a little while.
  19. Someone didn't prioritize.

  22. That is an awsome deal. If you go up to Fenway (and some how can get tickets which are the most expensive in baseball). I know off the top of my head a bottle of Poland Springs is $7, a bag of peanuts is $5, hot dogs are $4.50. It is just crazy. I hate to say it, but a day at Fenway is worth it though. That place is something special.
  23. Yup, first Tiogue, then Wattupa. Those are some tough lakes.
  24. I can't wait till Saturday. 8-)
