Suspender type II & V PFDs
The Red Mustangs we see everwhere do not have to be on to be considered a legal PFD. All the ones that must be worn to be considered an legal are labeled " Type 3 or 4 when only being worn" These are the ones that we must have a traditional PFD on the boat to be legal if you decide to remove the inflateable.

BIG BAIT, BIG FISH
Not around here. Most of my quality or big fish come on jigs, shakey heads, small creature baits (4.2 Beaver), or traps. Don't see to many lunkers in tourney's caught on big baits either.

Master That Bait Contest-New Shak-E2 Head-please read
Topwater Pitching 8-) When fishing shallow brush. Flip the Shak-E2 over a small branch (using braid so when you set the hook on a fish it will snap the branch and set the hook into the fish). Let it just sit on tup of the water shaking it. It will swim in almost a circle. These fish have probably never seen a topwater bait, never mind one with this type of motion.

Interesting article on using Braid with Spinning Gear
If clarity and rocks are not an issue I will use braid on my spinning gear. I love 15 lb Power Pro on my spinning gear when I can get away with it. It is a grassline and brush must imo.

Carrot Stix 7'3" MH - Good crankbait rod?
My 7'3" is my jig rod. If it were me I would want a rod with a little more bend to it because of the treble hooks. :-/

Solar Bat Moss Green Lens
I have a pair of the Mossy's but my favorite is the amber/yellow lens. Doesn't matter if it is bright and sunny, or cloudy, I think you pick up much more with the yellow.

I'm weak on jigs - need some pointers
Well, it depends where you are fishing. I am killin' 'em on my ponds, fishing from the bank. This involves extremely long casts to reach structure and move the jig along the structure. 99% of my bites are on the bottom or when being moved off the bottom, rarely on the drop. Profile and size is very important right now in order to have the tailer visible above the gunk on the pond floor. With bigger trailers, the slightest movement impacts the action of the bait. This is the key to the success I have been having. 8-) I should have specified, I meant 90% when pitching and flipping brush.

What modifications do you make to your hollow frogs? IE Bronzeye Frog.
One big adjustment that has helped me put more fish in the boat with frogs is putting BB's in it to make it heavier so it just barley floats in the water. When fishing shallow water you can usually see the fishes wake coming for the bait. That wake will push the frog infront of the fish more thus causing the fish to miss it when it comes up for it. By making the frog heavier the wake doesn't push it as far infront of the fish so the can acctually eat the bait.

I'm weak on jigs - need some pointers
This is a presention every jig fisherman should master so you can skip the jig (even though you are on a casting set-up) up underneith docks and brush. Not only are you getting the bait to fish who never see many baits, but the skipping on the top of the water is a presentation that grabs there attention. Also the bait skipping across the water gets rid of that big splash that may spook fish. It is also better than flipping or pitching over brush or laydowns because if you do hook the fish you have the fighting advantage over the fish. You don't have to get the fish over the cover.
