No problem, go to the store you bought them, return them and they replace it under Shimano's limited lifetime warranty service, no replacement fees and you get a new rod. I have one and love the EVA foam grips, tight and light. I have a Daiwa Zillion on it and my 7'2" MH Fast Action and use it exclusively as my Spro Frog rod. Ok now I'm done being p___ off about it. Yes I know and I really really liked them when I was fishing them. But seeing it just made me loose all confidence in them. Amazing rods though. Weight and sensitivity are great for the price, and they are very comfortable.

With the exception of mono on my jerkbait/lipless crank rod for a little more give, mono is a thing of the past for me.

Not true one bit. Jigs are good just about anytime, anywhere. I have caught fish on them in water from 38 degrees in March up here, to 90 degree water on Neely Henry.

Usually 3-4 MH for Jigs/Spinnerbaits, a medium fast action for treble hooked baits, and a couple spinning for finesse fishing.

I would too, but I have a hatred for that first name.

I would let it go, records mean nothing to me. I would get more satisfaction out letting the fish go than killing a miracle and having it on my wall.
