  1. In cold muddy water there are much better options. Even with beads and such there wont be too much vibration. In this type of water you want baits that displace a lot of water such as a spinnerbait, crankbait, or a jig.
  2. Wonder if he needs a CDL to drive that? :-?
  3. Ya but the best of the best did rise to the occasion, the Super 6 included KVD, Aaron Martens, and Ike. The 3 guys who have dominated in the past few years. Not to mention Swindle who also won an AOY title a few years back.
  4. RW, give 'em a break man.... ;D That was the toughest fishing I had ever seen. I wonder what an experienced "river man" as yourself would have brought to the scales during the Classic? We were helping out for the family/kid fishing event in the park where the 3 rivers meet. Over 800 people fishing for 3 hours. 1 14" Smallie, and 2 Catfish. lol
  5. Save your money. Nuff said. :-X A senko rod and a drop-shot rod are two different animals imo. Definatley need 2 different rods to drop-shot correctly. If you want a senko rod in the $100 range just go with the 7' Medium Action Fast tip, St.Croix Premier. A good drop-shot rod will cost you a little more.

  7. Snag Proof Tournament Frog with BB's in the butt as usual. The popper version is prett sweet to.
  8. Soo happy it is being televised, as of last week it was only supposed to be on local TV in Southern New Hampshire and around Boston. Guess all those letters from politicians acctually did something. Wish the game was in Foxboro though . Would do anything for tix.
  9. No Pats game this weekend..... I'm plannin on Sunday

  11. On e21fishing.com the LTX's are $150 and 30 to ship. On ebay there is a store called Simmons Sporting Goods, just look up e21 carrot stix on ebay. $150 and free shipping.
  12. Ya, just bring a lot of $$$. Its a good time but... its B.A.S.S. : lol. The weigh-ins are the best, especially when you can get the Fish Tank Tickets to be infront of the stage on the floor.
  13. I hope I'm there for that 8-) I will be having fun watching you and watching them come up and kill my buzzbait or sucking down the Flukey (in every color zoom makes)
  14. Shakey heads: Zoom finesse worm Drop Shot:4" Slim Senko or Zoom Meathead Wacky worm: slim senko or the finesse worm Jig: 7/32 oz. Title-Shot Knuckleball with a 3.5" beav or half of a super hog Carolina Rig: 1/32 oz. weight with a 4" Zoom Lizard Split Shot: A Zoom Fish Doctor
  15. Wow, thats bad. Real bad. Right after a snow a few years back some kid hit my moms new Yukon Denali with an ice ball. My step-dad got out and chased them a solid quarter mile through the woods and gave them an --- chewin'. People dont realize what could come from somethign like that. You could jerk the wheel next thign you know you are head to head with a log truck. No one thinks of the possible consequences. >
  16. Seems like giftcards were THE things to give this year. It's the best thing to buy someone imo. I would feel bad for someone who had no clue what they are looking for in an aisle at a Bass Pro or Cabelas trying to pick out spinnerbaits or crankbaits. Head would explode.
  17. I would be more concerned about creating grooves in the guides on hooksets and battles than acctually snapping the rod. That was the only issue I have with my Croix's.
  18. Its a good Christmas movie, but I think Christmas Vacation is better.
  19. At least your just looking for trailers and hooks. I got 3 reels and no rods. : Not that I'm complaining. ;D LMAO Ouch, sooooo sorry I was even complaining. Thats rough on the mind and wallet.
  20. For Kermit fishing you need to have braid imo. For abrasion resistance, strength, and no stretch on your hook sets. In a tournament I wont chance it, I like being able to winch fish when I have to. If you break them, doesnt a Legend Elite have a lifetime warranty? Bust it, get a new one, if a $300 7' MH rod cant handle braid, it wasnt build right imo.

What I was thinking, you taking away that great wiggle action. :-? If you want to do it right wacky rig it with a hook with a wire weed guard and stick a nail or screw in it. That it a fall no fish can resist
  22. O ya, I would pick that up for $350, especially with the trailer. Definatley able to build a deck with the low benches too.
  23. Same here unless I'm out with 5.0 or LBH. I dont look at as work but prefishing can be a pain sometimes. Going out to LOCATE fish and canceling out areas. I also wish I wasn't so hard on myself. Even if I do great and win or do real well in a tourney I always look back on that one error and it haunts me. I always want to fish flawless, but it hasnt happened yet and I doubt it ever will.
  24. Ya they have pics of regular colored Jags in New Mexico and Arizona, but can't figure out what all these people are seeing everywhere else. It just some black cat about 4-6 feet long eating farm animals left and right, and ranging from the northeast to the desert southwest. :-?
