  1. Go heavier to 3/8 or 1/2 so you can burn the thing as fast as you can. And buy a couple because the friction from the heat of burning them messes them up. Slow is not always better... :
  2. You're a sick dude...blowing 20-40mph yesterday and you went out. Nice fish though, you have gone over to the salty side...
  3. One of thhe funniest things I have seen in a while... ;D
  4. (Arnold voice)... "IT IS NOT A TUMA!!!"
  5. Did Larry lay that one on the grass and remove its' slime coat? :
  6. So ah, how many beers does it take to get to that upper age limit? Sometimes older can be better. Especially if they are old rich widows. Right on Robby!
  7. I would not recommend the Crucials at all. Everytime I'm in BPS I see a broken one being returned. But I do love the Cumara's. The Fenwick Techna's are on sale dirt cheap, I would pick one of those up for $130 before anything else right now. But there was a guy selling Cumara's in the flea market section for around $160.

Try a Skinny Dipper and you will never go back to those things... :
  9. Great video... (And pitch skipping is a lot easier than you think).
  10. WOW, I haven't laughed that hard in a while... And Cody, you are now part of the "Guess the weight clan", and I have lost all respect for you... ;D
  11. Why use a senko at night when you can use a jig?
  12. I think the Canes are a little under-rated. They could beat any of the Big 12 teams including Texas and that dam Boise State team but I don't see them beating a big SEC team like Bama or LSU.

They will make the playoffs but they won't get by the Giants or Saints. Bye bye Mr. Phillips...
  14. Shallow diver = is the shizzz...

Greasy fatty foods (bacon and burgers are best) and Gatorade. I want the Halloween edition Oreos...
  16. Congratulate Bill Cowher on becoming head coach of the 2010-2011 Dallas Cowboys...
  17. I think it is great for us smallie guys in summer. Bags over 15 pounds in the summer are common and bringing those fish up from 20'+ into mid 70's surface temps to air temps in the 80's is just brutal. Then in a livewell with other fish and possibly big waves on the ride back really bangs them up. They are much more fragile than largies so I like the lower limit.
  18. Cumara's are the way to go in my book for $200 plus rods. There are a bunch for around $160 in the flea market section.
  19. We just got our first Sonic in southern New England a couple weeks ago. I don't know where or when an Arby's will be around.
  20. I use my Abu's for drop-shotting and finesse and my Shimmy's with braid on them for winching in those wacky rigged fish in grass with 30 pound braid. When I did it the other way around the result was grinding and I felt like I was turning an egg beater by the end of the season... ;D
  21. I have not been in one Z Comanche that can do around 70 with a full tank and 2 guys... ;D I think yours with that 300 could do that and then some. 8-)
  22. GREAT JOB!!! That is just awesome despite the conditions. I can't wait to fish the Divisionals next year.

The Skins should beat up on the Bucs because they are a repeat that 0-14 team...
  24. They are both great reels, but I like the Cardinal more. My Cardinals of the past have not lived (staying smooth and quiet) as long as the Shimano Symetre's and Sahara's though...flip a coin.
