  1. I was fishing in a pond beside my house and you might not beleave me but i caught a little dink and was reeling it in and then i had a moster bass come up and eat the bass and i let it have some line for about a min. and then set the hook and he ended up going in to a tree that had fell in to the water and cut me off so i think that a bass will eat a bass.

  12. I dont get to go fishing out on the lakes alot normaly 1 time every week but i do go fishing in the stocked ponds all around my house and yesterday me and a buddy of mine caught 10 in the morning and then it rained and we went back out after it rained and we didnt get 1 hit. Do the fish not hit after a rain strom or were we just unlucky ???
  13. Redtail Posted on: Mar 28th, 2005, 6:49am Are you letting the fish swim for a while before setting the hook? A quick hook set will usually keep the fish from swallowing the bait. I think you should let the fish swim with the bait for about 5 sec becasue alot of the fish well pick up a bait that on the bottom by the tail and the bass is gonna run with the bait and then get the part of the bait with the hook in it.What ever works for you though
  14. Youd probly be best to go to a bait shop near were your at and ask what the fish there are hitting on and get the bait there

  16. I think the best way is to just cut the line so u dont kill the fish trying to jerk ur hook out ,because the hooks gonna disolve and ill rether waste a hook then kill a BASS !!!!
  17. I fish in ponds about everyday and i used to use a spinner bait , but after a while they stop hitting it,but ive been catching alot on swim baits and on sinkos. If you use a worm or creature bait and they stop hitting it, you might want to try and work it different if they stop hitting it.
