  6. Cool Fish. How do you catch those?
  7. I would start out with one of the BPS extreme combos. They are good rods and reels for the money. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_98422_100003001_100000000_100003000_100-3-1

A dollar store bat with a cheap treble hook and spinnerbait blade glued on. : The same guy also sells this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130127881145&ssPageName=MERC_VI_RCRX_Pr12_PcY_BIN_Stores_IT&refitem=130177128852&itemcount=12&refwidgetloc=active_view_item&usedrule1=CrossSell_LogicX&refwidgettype=cross_promot_widget And this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130135393639&ssPageName=MERC_VI_RCRX_Pr12_PcY_BIN_Stores_IT&refitem=130127881145&itemcount=12&refwidgetloc=active_view_item&usedrule1=CrossSell_LogicX&refwidgettype=cross_promot_widget
  9. That stinks. The same thing recently happened to me. I bought a new Revo SX at bass pro shops on the way back from Atlanta, the day after Christmas. I didn't open it up until we were an hour away from bass pro. The reel oil that came with it had spilled all over the reel, and it's not as smooth as it should be. I'm going back to exchange it on the 24th. I learned my lesson. :-/
  10. Great Fish! I have been thinking about picking up one of those Real Californias. :-/

For spawnig fish the only two baits I use are Zoom lizards on a split shot rig, and GYCB senkos.
  12. Yes its true you can get any of those reels for less than retail on Ebay. But you cant justify a poll on whether you can great deal or not on Ebay. But I do have a complaint about the poll. You can get the Curado for $150 with rebate so that should be addressed in the price. It takes 4-6 weeks to get that $50 back though, I think that's why he put the curado at $200. If you don't like ebay, Revo SX: $149.96 at wally wold. ;D http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?dest=9999999997&product_id=5439150&sourceid=1500000000000003260410
  13. Nice one. How did it taste? I've never eaten crappie before.
  14. A St. Croix Avid Crankbait AC70MM.
  15. How big is the pond? If it is a small one, there will usually be just bluegills, and probably crayfish if there is a stream that flows into the pond.
  16. You can get Revo SX's alot cheaper than $160 on ebay.
  17. Wow! NICE fish!
  18. Nice Fish. I really like going after bluegills on ultralight. They put up a great fight.
  19. Lol. I guess so. ;D
  20. RW, Does the Ika penatrate fairly thin vegitation well (pond muck)?
  21. Great fish, especially to begin the year with! 8-)

    x2 ;D X3!!!
  23. I agree, I thought that movie was terrible.
  24. Cavitrons! I use the 1/4 oz Charteuse and White and the 1/4 oz Black. It's the best buzzbait I've ever fished, and I've fished plenty.
