  1. I had the baby crappie one for awhile. It ran straight and I caught a few bass with it, nothing huge. The tail got torn up (it was pretty durable) and I just never got around to replacing it. It was a decent lure, I just never fished it that much.
  2. Nice bass! Interesting colors.
  3. Thanks for telling about the sale! I ordered a few.
  4. x2 I really like this rod for jerkbaits.

  7. I don't throw a spinnerbait much, but when I do it's a Strike King Premier Plus.
  8. At a local pond I made a big rockpile and a few brushpiles when the water was down because of the drought. I've caught some fish off them.
  9. They are made by VMC, but they are sharpened by Daiichi Japan. http://www.luckycraft.com/luckycrafthome/Products/accessories/hooks.htm

I'm going to keep fishing my old reliables, (cranks, buzzbaits, soft plastics) but also focus on improving my jig and jerkbait fishing this year. I just started fishing these two lures alot last year, and they have really produced for me.
