"bargin bin" just as good?
I don't shop the bargin bins. I usually only buy lures that have been recommended or ones I know produce results.

Rage Tail Frog
I work nights this week to cover for our night shift person that is on vacation so I get to fish during the morning. I will be back at it with the frogs on Saturday when my son and I go out fishing. I am going to give him a couple to try and see if I can make a believer out of him. I think the two of us will be able to tear it up again with these frogs.

Rage Tail Frog
I went out again today and ripped some lips with these frogs again. My buddy and I caught 11 lmbs using the rage tail frog, no hawgs today unfortunately, my biggest was 3lbs. I will post a couple of pictures later on today. Man these frogs really work sweet in the pads and grass and they are a must have for your tacklebox.

Hawg Huntin Help
When working tidal waters the tides have to be the first thing you take into consideration, that will dictate the baitfish movement. The Potomac River up here in Northern Virginia where I fish has a three foot depth change between the tides so that really makes the fish move around a bit. If you are going to fish the slop (grass and pads) use a canoe. I just bought one for that exact reason. I couldn't get my bass boat into some of the areas off of the Potomac I wanted to fish, but now I can fish them. Work the points of the creek channels on the outgoing tides, work the creeks on the incoming tides. Just my two cents.

The Downside To Hawg Hunting
X2 Kent I feel the same way. I would much rather catch a hawg then a bunch of smaller bass. The feeling is just not the same when I catch a smaller bass, don't get me wrong I enjoy each and every fight I experience with a bass. I have yet to hook or catch that double digit trophy bass but I continue my quest for it daily. I also understand that when I throw bigger baits that I most likely will not get as many strikes so I have to make the ones I get count. The fish my son lost the other day got me even more excited to catch the big one.

Rage Tail Frog
I use the 4/0 Gamakatsu EWG hooks and 30lb spiderwire. I just bought three more packs (two different colors) of the toads today and will be fishing these toads again tomorrow. These are a lot of fun to use and I hope to post up some pics tomorrow of some hawgs after I get back from fishing.
