  1. 34* with 10-15 mph wind in Houston..Down to 29* last night. Supposed to get to 26* tonight. 70s by the weekend.
  2. Being from Houston, I want to be the first to wish you a rotten trip...
  3. Might be your memory. I tried it on an older computer and it did the same thing. When I loaded on my new one with high speed everything cleared up...
  4. I am going and thanks to Long Mike and JeremyT. I have a back seat open if anyone needs one...
  5. 20 tourneys?!?! 12 are club tournaments(one day), two top six qualifying tournaments, a few big bass tournaments , and then several others that will require a couple of prefish days, no more fishing two a weekend
  6. Take a little break. Fish no more than 20 tournaments including our club's 12
  7. Ya'll have failed to mention the most important thing...Spare clothes to keep you warm and dry...None of the above matter if you are dying due to exposure...
  8. Roland has always been known to multiply his final weight by 2 or 3 or 10.
  9. Everything is cheaper than BASS
  10. There should be a test that can be given to a newborn to diagnose future idiots. Then the parents(Or parent) can make an educated guess if they want to continue with the...
  11. I cannot recall anyone beating down the sooners this year. Now I am not an LSU fan at all, but I remember them laying the wood to a Virginia team earlier this year(Or maybe that was a beat down).
  12. LSU's two loss team is better than any of the one loss teams. Ohio State will find this out very soon. It will be a repeat of last year, only maybe worse. They have listened to just about all they want to hear and will take it out on them. If Ohio State had played the same scheldule that LSU played they would be a 3-4 loss team.
  13. If you fish a 19 or larger boat you need the tandum trailer. Especially if you tow any distance. Most of the fishing I do requires a tow of at least three hours one way. The tandum is a lot more stable than a single axle. We usually tow at 70 mph or above and you need the extra axle.
  14. I do. I throw them a lot when fishing the open area between docks also.
  15. Our lows in Houston for the last week have been in the low 30s for several nights but warming to 65-70 during the day...I have had 4 of the last 7 days at or below freezing. Warms up quick though...Seems about normal. Four years ago Christmas day had 4-8 inches of snow around Houston. Three at my home...Actually the record snowfall for a 24 hr period in Houston was 22 inches back at the turn of the century...Glad I missed that one...
  16. It is a balmy 72 degrees here in Houston...Rained late last night. Not a cloud in the sky as I speak. Weatherman said it will be in the 20s by Tuesday. Might last 36 hours...Eat your hearts out... Now when summer arrives about mid may it will be 100+ for the next 6 months...Average summertime lows will be 72...Whew....
  17. Probably one of our future senators...
  18. I ran a drag car for 16 years. Set some national records. One was a 1967 Chevy Nova. 6cyl.(258 c.i.). with a doug nash 5 spd. IHRA ran SS/3K and set the e.t. record 4 times and the m.p.h. record twice. Best 1/4 mile pass ever was 11.912 at 128.63 mph. Ran NHRA with it with small block chevy and a powerglide. Ran SS/LA. Best pass was 11.287. Other car was 1963 Corvette F/MP. Division four land of the Good guys. This car set 7 NHRA records. It was co owned by myself and another friend of mine. Small block chevy with a nash 5 speed trans. Don't remember best pass but car was consistently .5 and .6 under the index. Ran both cars coast to coast. Ran the world finals nine years in California(Never won them though) Vette consistently in the mid to high 10s.
  19. The main reason for setting the brakes counter to each is to keep the spool and shaft balance correctly aligned. Just like balancing a race motor. I gram off can throw it out of wack.
  20. Hi

    Welcome
  21. Go take a look at some of the new boats. They have a storage rack in some of them that you can either measure or possibly purchase from a dealer. Knowing some of your work though you could build a better rack than any yet designed.
