Strange...I have a 522c and a LMS480 side by side on the console. Transducers are mounted outside the boat at the back of the transom just to each side of the lower unit. I have a X135 up front working off the TM. Never had a problem with any interference. I am running the HST-WSBL wide angle transducers on all. They stay on unless I am working very shallow water, and that ain;'t very often.

Feels great to get the monkey off my back. i was surprised when it happened because i had always tried in my mind to feel the fight. It was no more than several 5s that I had caught over the years. I now have nine dd bass and most did not fight any more than the other larger if somewhat smaller fish i had put in the boat. Just goes to show you it's not the size of the dog in the fight. A lot of it has to do where you are fishing, the time of year, and the depth of water you stick the fish.
