  1. What are your opinions on this new circuit? I personally like it and think it will attract more fishermen into the tournament scene. I know it was designed to focus on the smaller rigs, with a smaller entry fee and of course a smaller payout, but I see it as good for the sport. Wish they would scheldule a series here in the Texas/Louisiana area.
  2. From the sound in the stadium yesterday I would hate to be him this morning. Not fair to the paying fans in my opinion.
  3. The paper bags are coming out of hiding shortly.
  4. I own the Sx(2), STX(3), and have had no problems with any.
  5. With the lack of room up front you might want to take a look at a hand operated TM.
  6. All it takes is one session with a paddle in your hand. Your question will be answered. Seperate battery(s) for the TM.
  7. New Air Compressor for my shop(Garage). New impac wrench and sockets New pair of Costas
  8. Leave them in the original package. I then throw them into a used plastic bag from Walmart. Just dig through them for what I want.
  9. Jis Traps spinnerbaits Plastics Try to time your trips to coincide with a couple of warm days. Sleep in and fish mid day.
  10. Merry Christmas
  11. Merry Christmas. Sitting in the snow in Ft. Worth. Gonna be a white one here for sure. Jack
  12. Sorry to hear. I'm right there with you. I live on pain meds and pain patches. It's a bummer, but I just carry one and try to make the best of it. Please take your meds as prescribed. They are addictive as you well know. I have been on Vicodin over four years and have never taken more than I was supposed to. If you need the numbers or address for a few of the groups I have used, just let me know. FYI, I will be traveling from noon today until Thursday afternoon so bear with me. Good luck, Jack
  13. A set of darts. I could not wait to stick one into a wall socket to see what would happen.
  14. My tackle addiction has got to be worse than a drug habbit. Lord knows I could not afford both.
  15. I bought one for my wife. The reviews are all over the place on this that I have found. Anyone use it. If so, what are your thoughts? I purchased the 2GB. Is this enough, or should I get the 4 GB? Thanks, Jack
  16. That submerged point just west of that 3rd bouy produced a 6 11 for me while fishing with Catt earlier this year. Watermellon/Red trick worm fished wacky in about 8 foot of water. Ya'll better listen to the Catt.
  17. Unbelievable, you would think he would have enough sense to keep his pic out of sight.
  18. Greed and lack of morals did him in.
  19. I know you are. I cannot wait for next year. Again, Nova and Montanna should be the class of the league. They should be ranked 1-2. I expect McNeese State out of Lake Charles, La. and Stephen F. Austin out of Nacogdoches, Tx. to open up in the top 10 for the start. Most don't realize how competitive and fun they all are to watch. AND WE CROWN A LEGIT CHAMPION WITH A REAL PLAYOFF!!!!! Good luck next year. Jack
  20. pffft, Southland conference. All roads to the championship go through the CAA as of now. Five teams in the playoffs last year, 4 this year. Did not deny that. Just stated that we have lots of good football games to watch. FYI, Stephen F. Austin did take out the mighty Nova on their home field in a snowstorm a few years back on their way to the championship game against Georgia Southern. 21-20 They did; however, lose that championship game 37-34.
  21. I too was rooting for Nova. Montana took out my team 51-0 in the second round. I like the lower division football. We have some great games played and a few of the local teams always show well. The Southland conference always fields some strong teams that are fun to watch. McNeese State and Stephen F. Austin both made the playoffs this year. both are loaded again for next year. S.F.A. looses two off defense and two off offense, and McNeese has most of their players coming back. It should be another fun year to watch.
  22. Great fish. Enjoy the mount. Display it proudly. There are several in this area that have stringer mounts, ten fish(All over 6) put together that are really nice looking. Jack
  23. Several years ago on Sam Rayburn. I had a limit in the boat at 1:00pm that weighed a little over 22 lbs, but needed to cull out a 2 1/2 that I had. Stuck a fish on a jig that weighed about 4 lbs. Instead of using the net I tried to lift it into the boat and it twisted off in the air. 23.89 won the new boat. I never did cull that small fish.
