  1. Yes you can. Lots of guides have them and never fish a tournament. Jack
  2. Sorry buddy, I meant to post this up yesterday. Hope you had a great birthday. Looking forward to our next trip. Jack
  3. Matt, he posted a lot on the TFF and that is where I bought from him. There is a long thread under bass fishing if you want to read it over there.
  4. 1. Yes it is a great unit. Had one on my boat for years 2. Buy you a screw clamp large enough to circle the TM housing and mount it up. I, at one time used a small piece of wood placed up against the housing when I was in a tight. It stayed there over a year with no problems. Guess I shouldn't have told you that. LOL
  5. You might want to try a drop of oil on each end of the spool shaft.
  6. I can help you. Get your map out and call me. If you want to get a Mexico license that's up to you, but you don't need it. Plenty on the Texas side. Jack 281 224-8853
  7. You missed a key to Mike. Try hitting the 1 next time. LOL Don't rhyme to well with that 1 does it! That 0 should've been an o, for o-line. They looked horrible. Ya'll might want to address that before the superbowl talk gets out of hand. Merry christmas, Jack
  8. Waiting on the hybrid outboard to be mounted on a 20' bass boat. Probably a reach. Technology that will allow the trolling motor to recharge the TM battery while you run it. Warning buzzers that will tell you when you run by a school of fish at 60 mph. It will know the difference between a bass and a carp. Cameras built into soft plastics so you can see the size of a fish before you set the hook. Finally catching a keeper when it matters. Got to happen sooner or later. Outboards with a 100,000 mile/hour cowling - skeg warranty. Look for it in ___. Boaters that know when they are too close. They finally get the clue. Dedicated areas for jet skis, will be enforced with razor wire. Robby Rose will get what's coming to him. This is probably a reach to.
  9. Catt, you hit the wrong keys. Missed the 3 and the 1.

Dang, guess my reel won't get shipped until next week. LOL
  11. If I happen to put one on it's only on the front.
  12. Great job guys. Keep up the good(Hard) work. Will be watching.
  13. I'm in($300.00 Deposit Is Up) on the co-angler side for the central opens. Just going to depend on my issues with my neck though. Amistad April Red River June Texoma October
  14. The one I have close to my house is the same way. It is geared toward saltwater and the bass selection is pretty limited. I usually shop at another 20 miles away as the bass section is a little better. I still prefer BPS. You pay a little more, but you can usually find what you are looking for.
  15. Getting the HDS5 today for my birthday. A gift from the wife. It is going on the bow. No lake insite though, got to cut a few corners somewhere. I can live without it since she is nice enough to purchase it for me.
  16. I allready have that. A deal that could not be passed on.
  17. For the many that have asked. Enjoy www.collegefishing.com This will take you directly into the FLW website. Enjoy, and good luck, Jack

Georgia Southern What the schools do for the teams: U of N. Alabama: Members are reimbursed for travel cost The only one that does this. www.collegefishing.com I started a new thread with this info just above. I figure there will be plenty of activity due to the responses I have heard concerning this.
  19. Thanks, that coordinate is showing up out in the middle of the lake on several maps and other mapping sites. Catt, Long Mike, and I have run through several sites and we keep getting different locations. That could be my poor map comprehension too.
  20. They work well. If you have an Academy near you they are stocking them.
  21. Just came from Academy. All crankbaits depending on size range from 3.29-3.99 They have kits on sale. Called Pro Pack. Has a Sammy type topwater, rouge type bait, and three crankbaits . Shallow, medium, and deep. Kit is on sale for 9.99 (5 lures) 6 lure trap kits are also 9.99 there are others including swimbait kits that run as high as 49.99. I believe they had 6 swimbaits in each pack. Jack
  22. Very nice. I just came from BPS panting over the units they have. I have decided to wait and go for the 8. BPS has them for 1699.00. I have found one a month old that the guy is wanting 1325.00 and it has the lake insite. I went by his house couple of hours ago and offered him 1200.00 for it. There is also another used one on another website that is for sale for 1325.00. They are starting to show up so I'm not going to get in a hurry. There will be one come around shortly in my price range. Not that 1200.00 is in my range, but I'm going to get one somewhere.
  23. OK, I'll do it. I live five minutes from one. Ya'll get your list together and let me know. Pay actual price for what you want and actual shipping. I'm on the way to BPS(WE have two(LOL)) so I'll be back in a few hours. Jack
  24. Sad story. Saw it on the 11:00am news this morning.
  25. Yep, X2. Been so long ago I forgot most of what they tried to tell me. If I had to pick now it would be Greg Hackney.
