  2. I love my Shimano reels 7-10oz total weight, I really don't think you could really tell. It's more in the ergonomics of the reel you notice in my opinion
  3. How Much glue did you buy for a 14 foot 48" Jon fully decked? I guess I could do the math 50 Sq feet give or take How Much paint did you buy? 2 quarts of primer 1 gal of paint?

  12. I switched to the steel sinkers a long time ago, because they did not deform or get sharp edges to cut my line.

  16. I am building my jon boat and almost put one in, until the wife hit me with some common sense, your on the money with a portable unit. I catch and release but if I want to fish an event I will go pick up some stuff and make a portable unit. this will give some extra cash for other things on the boat and more storage space.

  18. I am planning my boats layout and decided to add one more battery and toss on two spot light headlights, and a radio with waterproof speakers. I will also add some good fatigue padding like in the birth of an electric boat thread.
  19. if its plastic would PVC glue work? Clean the area put the clear primer on not the purple then add a heavy dose of glue
  20. I would get some glass and resin at walmart and patch it up for good, doesn,t have to look good just seat it good maybe a picture would help
  21. Thats just a big adjustable resistor (POT) with some fancy lights I could make a kit to do that for 30 bucks in a nice box with a voltage gage for a little more. great idea dont have to even hack into the POT in the handle! Now you got me thinking
